keeping up with facebook, twitter, cheezburger, etc...seems to be all i can accomplish without 24/7 access to the internet. I do have service in my building now, but it's in the lobby- it's not like i can sit and watch tv and surf yet, which is when i used to update my blogger. sigh. sorry!
no knitting news- hard to be inspired in this heat, it's been in the 100's for a few weeks now. Spending lots of time with friends, hanging with jesse, and occasionally hitting the beach when the sun starts to go down. The water is so warm, it's not refreshing at all to get in during the day.
Still enjoying Dubai most of the time, and loving the experience of living overseas. it really has opened my eyes in ways i never expected, and much appreciate. Miss my USA friends so much though, wish I could combine the two easily. Have so far missed one birth, and will miss another soon, and that is hard - as I consider myself a good friend to have around if one has a new baby in the house. (i do laundry, dishes, and diapers without being asked) plus, i really really really enjoy new babies.
